Who is Jill?
Oh, my! That question blows me away. Have you ever asked yourself that question? Well, if you have then you know what a challenge lies before me. If you haven't then perhaps this will inspire you to "go within" and discover the truth, beauty and goodness of who you are.
I think that last sentence is a good indicator of who I am today. I am a life coach to others. I seek to coach, coax, inspire, model, or otherwise encourage others to discover their inherent beauty as a child of God and revel in being that child in every conscious moment.
I am a child of God, our Personal Father for all of eternity. A Personal Father ? That understanding is the foundation upon which I made major changes in my life in 1995. I can look back upon my life before and see where all the belief systems I held, and all the life experiences I had, were leading me ever closer and closer to that personal revelation: "God," "All There Is," "Creator," "The Force"--- whatever you want to label this magnificent creative energy--- it IS PERSONAL. Our Father in Heaven is our perfect father. He wants us to know him personally, truly as the benevolent father he is. That was real difficult for me because I grew up tremendously afraid of my human father.
Today I personally know my Father in Heaven. I start each day with him. I thank him for the gifts of knowledge and wisdom he has made possible for me in the special way he wishes me to serve all his children. I pray that he will be able to reach each and every one of his children with that personal sense of self and service to all. And then, I declare to him that I want my will to be totally his will for the day. Your will, Father, be done with me, to me, and through me that I may serve to the best of my abilities to help bring our world into a state of "heaven on earth".
And do you know what makes this feel so fantastic ? I don't have to feel responsible for anybody except me. I am simply his tool to be used as he wishes to reach others. Watching his love pour forth out of me and drench a weary soul with sunshine and hope is ecstasy. True ecstasy. And to think that Our Father has given me such a privilege is truly humbling. His love works such miracles.
Let his non-judgmental, unconditional love flow through you to everyone you encounter. You will know ecstasy, too!

What is Jill?
By occupation I am first and foremost an apostle of Jesus in my heart and mind: a minister; a missionary, reaching out to all whom Our Father brings to me.
Secondly, I am a therapist and counselor. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Central Washington University in June 1993. I graduated Summa cum Laude. I earned a Masters of Social Work degree from Eastern Washington University in June 1995, again Summa cum Laude. I am a Certified Social Worker in the State of Idaho and a Clinician-Therapist-Psychosocial Rehabilitation Specialist for the State of Idaho, Department of Health and Welfare, Adult Mental Health.
So, according to our society's value system, I am authentic and qualified to assist others in their search for self, peace and harmony in their life. But you know what, if I hadn't done my homework, with God and his aides to me, and graduated from God's school, my ability to give therapy and counseling to others would not be nearly as effective. For me, my Father in Heaven has to be at the center and I have to be filled with the desire to be his servant in order to truly make a difference in a brother's or sister's life.
Each of us who seeks to know Our Father and be like him is a bona fide counselor and life coach. When we ask him to work through us to help a sister or brother who is suffering, we are simply his tool. He does the counseling and coaching, through us. So do not be afraid to give of his love through yourself in the form of loving comfort and compassion. He needs you to serve. He needs each and every one of us to serve with compassion and nonjudgmental love. Seek to find the unique gifts he has bestowed upon you to fulfill his work, and be those gifts in every thought, word and deed.
